While gyms remain closed and exercise options remain limited, many of us need a little motivation to improve our health and fitness.
Some encouragement and a little inspiration can go a long way.
Unfortunately, one woman has shared a video that reminded us why we shouldn’t rush back too quickly after all.
TikTok user Steph ended up halfway across the gym after attempting to remove her jumper while on the treadmill.
In the video, she began to speed backwards as she pulls it over her head before accidentally tripping over the wall behind her.
Unfortunately, no one appears to notice until she tries to stand up with her jumper still over her head.
The video left people shocked – with many outraged that no one came to her assistance.
One person commented: “No one stopped to help her, how are they so mean?”
Another blasted: “Video evidence of how this generation lacks chivalry, kindness for others and smarts…all in one.”
A third said: “Man nobody helped! Honey I would have laughed but I still would have helped you up. Poor thing!”
The mum-of-three appeared to agree, as she said: “I raised two boys. Damn straight they would have stopped what they were doing to help someone.
“Unfortunately, the men were older than me, useless men.”
But luckily, Steph said the incident didn’t affect her – and she even stayed at the gym.
She commented: “I am still laughing at myself. I learned I can not take off my sweatshirt on a treadmill.”
The mum-of-two added: “I’m not mortified at all, I’m human and make mistakes.
“Honestly this was absolutely hysterical to me. I can laugh at myself when I do stupid s***.”
And she shared that she uploaded the video herself after receiving it from her trainer – so others could enjoy the awkward moment.
She even shared her favourite moment of the clip – when her legs got stuck in the air.
She said: “That’s the part that kills me – my legs at the end. How could I not laugh at myself?”
